So, what happens next ?
With the Supreme Doormat ’s announcement that it will hear a case challenging President Trump ’s executive order ending birthright citizenship for children of illegal immigrants or legal but temporary residents, the debate has been awash over the meaning of Section One of the 14th Amendment.
That’s the part that says, “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States.” At issue is what the phrase, “subject to the jurisdiction thereof,” really means.
But it’s only a matter of political interpretation. in an extensive way : the babies born in the US are under its jurisdiction from the very first second of their lives, or in a restrictively way : they must be expelled beginning the same very first second because of the situation of their parents, regarding the jurisdiction.
And if it’s political, it’s ideological. The judges’re not going to state the law. They’re going to communicate by thought transference with Donald and repeat what the president wants to hear: deport them all!
