The flash flood of the Guadalupe River, which rose 8 meters in 45 minutes, surprised Kerr County, Texas. Many scientists believe that global warming, due to human activities, is worsening the severity of weather events: hailstones are the size of hen’s eggs, hurricanes are more frequent and violent, and floods are much, much more rapid because of dry soils.
Rather than pretending there’s no climate change, say you don’t give a damn, you are rich enough to get protection, you just want to be able to pig out big planes and cars, nice butts, space flights, a.s.o. Be honest with yourself. Your greed is killing the planet and you just don’t care.
But when the wind will turn in a few years – the ideological wind I mean – the climate police will retrieve you in your bunker. And be sure your community will demand accountability for all that methan and carbon monoxide spread in the atmosphere.
