By targeting only « democratic criminals » living in Democrat cities, such as Denver or Chicago, is Donald Trump trying to prevent the next civil war or fuel this civil war by provoking a George Floyd-like incident to crack down and fire into the crowd ?

The U.S. Department of Defense has decided to « federalize » 300 members of the Illinois National Guard, despite the opposition of the state’s Democrat governor, J.B. Pritzker, as well as 400 members of the Texas National Guard, half of whom are expected to be sent to Illinois, with the support of Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbott.

The Department of Defense has recently been encouraged to use American streets as a training ground. It’s no longer just about expelling a couple of too much tanned individuals. Tactically, occupying the streets is the best way to physically control a potential insurrection. But by taking its soldiers out of their barracks, it is also the best way to force the army and its leadership to choose : oppose the insurrection or be part of the insurrection, if there is one.

The deafening silence that fell at the last meeting of military officials makes me wonder the loyalty of the army. Donald, when in doubt, you must refrain from acting. But we all know : Donald never doubt.
