Otherwise I can’t explain why he has engaged his country in such a reversal of strategic alliances. In one hand, insulting Zelensky in the Oval Office and denying him democratic legitimacy. In the other hand, he is playing appeasement with the Kremlin, no new tariffs and friendly phone calls.
